Playing Days 2010
This year SLCGA have organised some opportunities for girls with handicaps of 20 and above, or those without a handicap to get together and play some fun golf at Hoebridge Golf Centre and Horne Park Golf Club.
The events will be 9 holes only, and will include a variety of different formats, with on-the-spot prizes. It's a great opportunity to meet up with your friends and make some new ones, so come along.

Distance Measuring Devices
Please note that Surrey Ladies County Golfing Association will allow the use of Distance Measuring Devices for all competitions in 2010. This will apply to all junior competitions as well.
Please note that this rule will not apply to competitions that began in 2009 and continue into

The full rule is 14.3 and states that distance measuring devices may be used provided they only assist in giving distance information. A device that measures the gradient or wind speed may not be used.

A full copy of the SLCGA decision is available at http://www.slcga.org/news.asp
