List of Coaching Groups

In 2011/12 SLCGA will again seek to offer county coaching to all players wishing to receive it on a self funded / subsidised basis.

Junior players not involved in the Futures or Funded coaching programme will have access to junior squad coaching, whilst those intermediate players (16-25 yr olds) will have access to the Golf Mix programme across the county.

Surrey Player Pathway 2011/2012

 

Surrey provides different levels of coaching for girls and young women from beginner to County level. Please click on group heading for more information.

Group	Players
Funded Coaching	15 players, funded by SLCGA
Self Funded County Coaching	Self funded, likely cost is £20-£25 per three hour session with county coaches. Any players with handicaps of 9 and below,
Futures	Up to 60 players. Surrey Golf Partnership.Limited player funded,
Junior Squad	Up to 30 players. SLCGA. Limited player funded.
Golf Mix	Unlimited number of players. Ages 16-25 Surrey Golf Partnership. Limited player funded.
Start Up/Grass Roots.	Unlimited number of players. Surrey Golf Partnership. Limited player funded.

YIG: Young Improvers Golf: competitive playing opportunities for under 12's (organised by Surrey Golf Union)
Playing days: 9 hole playing opportunities for girls new to golf / competitive golf (organised by SLCGA)
